Loco’s
The Re 4/4 II, currently designated as Re 420 and Re 421 according to UIC, is a type of universally deployable electric locomotive used by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and used as traction for all types of passenger and freight trains. With 277 units delivered, the Re 4/4 II is the largest traction vehicle series ever delivered in Switzerland to date. Construction and delivery took place over a 21-year period from 1964 to 1984.
The Re 421 has been approved to operate in Austria and Germany. For this purpose it has been fitted with PZB (LZB) and German SIFA. Also one of the Pantographs is of the WBL type, suitable for the wider German ‘zick-zack’ and different line current.
Wagons
This pack contains passenger wagons of the B50/Bm51 and EW1 type. The UIC-X and Z2 wagons of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) are 470 express train wagons with side aisles and closed compartments that were put into service from 1964 and some of them still run on long-distance trains in Switzerland today. As an addition to the B50 type wagons we also recreated EC type Bpm, Apm and R/Pano wagons. With this combination of passenger wagons you will be able to create a large number of trains that operate throughout Switzerland and Germany.
