Eagerly awaited
by many, it was a little shy at first and still shied away from the limelight. But after some good encouragement, our ICE 1 now storms the stage full of self-confidence and conquers the rails and hearts in flight.
With an impressive length of over 400 m and an impressive capacity of up to 800 passengers, this marvel of technology is one of the longest ICE units ever built. At a travel speed of up to 280 km/h, these trains are on the rails throughout Germany.
But although it has been working tirelessly for almost 30 years, the ICE 1 is certainly not yet a "scrap heap". The trains were comprehensively modernised as part of the redesign. The driver's cab now has digital multifunction displays, and the passenger interior has also been modernly redesigned.
Germany's first high-speed train is still an integral part of rail transport today.
In cooperation with Trainworks (sound) and Railworks Austria (technology), 3DZUG (models) has elaborately implemented the ICE 1 with the latest PBR technology. With a lot of time, energy and an extra dose of attention to detail - from the address of the train to the improved production technology. Thanks to this, we can now build even more optimized and implement the contamination that is not yet possible with the ICE 4.
The train will be delivered in the current redesign of Deutsche Bahn. As always, all cars are completely accessible and reproduced in great detail. Relax in 1st class, visit the open-plan car or get a refreshment in the restaurant, which offers an incomparable view with its skylights.
For all those who like it green, we also supply the "climate protector" livery in addition to the DB variant.
Six exciting tasks accompany this classic of high-speed trains and round off the package.
The ICE 1 simply cannot be missing from any collection - so come on board and step on the gas!
