JTG SPS 466 Task Package Vol. 1

Extensive track renewal work is taking place this week in the Black Forest on the line between Konstanz and Hausach. Many sleepers and the track superstructure are being replaced. You will be operating the legendary Class 232 locomotive, supplying the various construction sites with new sleepers, which have been delivered in Konstanz. In this assignment, you will experience what it means to keep the work on the line running smoothly on behalf of DB Netz, working at a tight schedule. You will transport the entire train of new sleepers to Singen, deliver to various construction sites, and ensure a smooth operation so that delays and disruptions to service are avoided. After the renovation work is completed, you will return the empty wagons to Immendingen in a nighttime operation, where a colleague will collect them the following day.
