B42Rail BahnMoment - Vol. 1: FLIRT between Zurich and Olten

The SBB FLIRT RABe 523 are also at home on the route between Zurich and Olten. For a long time they came as an S-Bahn to Wettingen. At times they were also used as replacement vehicles from Zurich HB. With this add-on you can travel with the FLIRT on the various routes between Zurich and Olten. These high-quality scenarios, which come from the 2020 timetable year, will challenge you as a train driver and entertain you for many hours.

SBB RABe 523

The SBB RABe 523, nicknamed "FLIRT", is a Stadler Rail multiple unit and was used from 2004. The multiple unit of the first FLIRT series is operated in four or five-car compositions. It offers space for up to 236 people, has a low-floor entrance and has a top speed of 160 km/h. The four-car trains are around 70 meters long, the five-car trains around 85 meters. The train is designed for local transport.

In addition, the well-known SBB freight wagon package is also used, which is known from previous add-ons and offers a lot of variety with the numerous wagon and loading variants.

SBB EW IV composition

As a highlight for the AI traffic, this add-on features a vehicle from the developer "BetweenArrows" for the first time. This developer produces vehicles for the TSC that set new standards. The EW IV composition includes the control car (Bt) and of course the first and second class carriages (EW IV A / EW IV B). The package also includes a dining car (EW IV WR), a first-class car with a service compartment (EW IV As), and the baggage car D (MC 76, ex SNCF). The dining car and the car with a service compartment were previously unavailable in the TSC. The cars are available in three versions: green/cream, refit, and the latest version, which is also a first for the TSC.
The EW IV car set is also suitable for use as a player train; the cars are equipped with passengers. However, the control car cannot be controlled by the player.
