JTG BR 155 Task Package Vol. 1

The Class 250 locomotives were heavy electric locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (East German State Railway). As part of the harmonization of locomotive class designations with the Deutsche Bundesbahn (West German Federal Railway), they were redesignated Class 155 on January 1, 1992. Under this designation, the locomotive, affectionately nicknamed "Container," was in service with Deutsche Bahn AG (German Rail) from 1994 to 2019, primarily hauling heavy freight trains on almost all electrified lines in Germany.
