In 1979, the German Federal Railway (Deutsche Bundesbahn) launched the Intercity program with a new concept, which continues to this day. Second class was born and shaped long-distance travel at that time. Even today, the Intercity network remains a crucial foundation of German long-distance rail services. Although some Intercity trainsets are quite old, they have been gradually modernized across the board and are now operating as "IC Mod".

Join us in this exciting challenge package and experience what it means to get the IC 2012 to its destination on time in two separate tasks on the Mainz to Cologne route. If only it weren't for the notorious bottleneck of the Rhine Valley, where even a small delay can have a major impact on traffic. Of course, there are also unforeseen cancellations, which in the Frankfurt area require unusual detours and demand considerable patience and composure from your passengers.
