The low-floor multiple unit "FLIRT," developed by Stadler Rail, is still considered a versatile vehicle for regional and suburban rail services and was originally designed for the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). The SBB designates it, among other things, as RABe 523. This train is known for its reliability and excellent acceleration and braking performance.
