SBB multiple unit RABe 501 004 "GIRUNO"
Switzerland - Italy.

For the test drives in Italy, the RABe 501 004 was given an elaborate and striking design on August 18,
2018. Both control cars symbolize
the Swiss and Italian flags. On the side you will find the names of the various actors
who were involved in the construction of the Giruno. In addition, the landmarks
of the cities of Zurich and Milan and the Gotthard massif are stylized.

This beautiful design remained on the 501 004 until 2020. The
train was then taken over by SBB in May 2020 and christened Schwyz in February 2023.
