Proven train is combined with advantages of new trains

With the IR-Dosto, SBB is strengthening its fleet with a proven vehicle type and combining it with the advantages of the newer trains. The 60 new vehicles bring more comfort to travelers. Over a length of 150 metres, the six-car multiple units offer 466 seats.
The low-floor IR-Dosto allow barrier-free boarding for all passengers. The interior meets the long-distance standard and offers 2+1 seating in 1st class. Throughout the procession, high-quality seats, power outlets, easily accessible bicycle spaces.

The trains are used on the Zurich S-Bahn and on various routes in German-speaking and French-speaking Switzerland as Regio-Express and InterRegio trains.
