With the introduction of the Trans Europ Express, completely new standards have been set for travel in the European Economic Area. Numerous exclusive features such as the first class, a galley, customs compartments and more characterized this new train genre. Most striking, however, was the uniform and until today well-known painting of the trains in burgundy and beige.

Even the then newly produced Rhine gold received this appreciation and so the cobalt blue figurehead transformed after a short time in his world-famous wine-red color dress.

To complete the Rheingold series and by popular request, we have now also implemented this train: The Rheingold "Trans Europ Express" TEE.

As with the Rheingold 1962, we have designed all the cars in detail, equipped with a new color dress and accurately labeled. Furthermore, we deliver in this package the observation car of the second series with four large windows in the lookout pulpit.

The observation car and also the dining car contain a detailed passenger view, which invites to explore the car. Four tasks complete the package.
